Eighth
Annual Horry/Georgetown High Schools Juried Exhibition
April 1 – April 27, 2007
Opening reception: Sunday, April 1, 2007 from 1pm until 3pm, Awards Ceremony
at 2pm
This is an opportunity for students to submit their works to professional
judges for possible selection into an art museum exhibition. It fosters
a number of admirable goals: promoting high school student art locally;
promoting self-esteem among art students; demonstrating to students one
way artists earn money through their art; promoting professionalism in
student artists; and promoting art in the schools and community. Works
will be juried into the exhibition, with cash awards given and art offered
for sale.
