Events

We strive to engage our community and our visitors through unique and interactive public programs for people of all ages. These include receptions for new exhibits and their artists, when possible; tours, lectures, panel discussions and seminars on topics ranging from literature and the visual arts to current affairs; and our Free Family Day events.

FUNDRAISING

Art, Antiques and Appraisals (January)

Inspired by the popular PBS series, this event features a team of regional and local experts in fine art, jewelry, silver, ceramics/collectibles, colonial items and furniture who provide participants with informal verbal appraisals of their special objects, as well as provide information about caring for these treasures.

Annual Spring Tour of Homes (March)

The Museum's major fundraiser of the year, the Tour offers a glimpse into some of the Grand Strand's most stylish homes. With so many eye-popping design details, guests are bound to find inspiration for their own home decor.

Annual Bag Ladies Luncheon (November)

While helping to raise funds for the Museum's year-round programs, this event offers area women a chance at some terrific bargains on unique handbags, just in time for gift-giving and the holidays' special events.
